Jack Link's Meat Snacks Squatch Double Header beef jerky

Food Review (Posted on 06-10-2017)

You're looking at Jack Link's very own beef jerky stick product, in comparison to its competitor Slim Jim. Okay, maybe they're not in full-blown competition, but this is their version targeting the snackers who need something to eliminate hunger temporarily before consuming their daily meal(s).

I must admit: I love the style and color scheme of Jack Link's especially shown on this product. It seems more formal yet appealing to my eyes. However, compared to other brands out there, the colors also tell me that it's a product that isn't cheap. Nevertheless, this economical snack gives you two for the price of one. If you're lucky to find these at dollar stores, you can snatch these for $1!

The taste? Very similar to Slim Jim, apparently. This snack, though, I find it's more lean and meaty and less juicy than the Slim Jim. Depending on who you are, the lean, beefy texture of this jerky may cater to some better than the soft, juiciness of Slim Jim. Again, I feel it's more on preference to the one eating it. I also feel it's a little more on the salty side, but I love the beefy, less greasy part of it.

Besides all that, I highly recommend it to my fellow beef jerky fans. It may be $2, but do enough search and find any local dollar stores and you can get this for $1, or maybe less!

It feels good when you get discounts. Get $10 off at Maine Lobster Now! Mouth-watering lobster rolls ready for dinner tonight, as well as every night:
