Angie's Boom Chicka Puff Sweet Barbeque Baked Ancient Grain puffs

Food Review (Posted on 02-16-2017)

Puff chips are so irresistible, and addicting. They're so easy to eat, but depending on the brand, can be leave you feeling a little guilty after.

'Lo and behold: Angie's "Boom Chicka Puff!" I must admit: I immediately thought this was one badass brand of chips. Angie's also has a bag of popcorn called "Boom Chicka Pop." The fact you can brand a bag of chips with "Boom Chicka" is quite humorous but a unique take in comparison with others (in short, it separates them from the others). Does this mean Angie will release a new line of chips called "Boom Shaka Laka Laka?" We can only hope.

Upon trying these bag of puffs, I was instantly amazed. The puffs are so light, it's like eating flavored air (I'm sure some desperate culinary entrepreneur is saving his/her minimum wage checks to file a trademark patent for the phrase "flavored air" to market their business). Anyway, the lightness is remarkable but tempts you to plow through the bag knowing you still don't feel satisfied, snacking-wise. Also, it doesn't taste too salty at all; it tastes just right, on the sweet side. If you happen to get this bag of puffs that contain a lot of salt, you know what that means right? That means whichever worker prepped that bag is in love. (Yeah, that's an old superstition but thought I'd say.)

Overall, if you're looking for a snack you can chug through while watching your favorite shows/films on Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/YouTube, I truly recommend this. Pretty soon, you'll be hollering at your close female friend, calling her, "hey Boom Chicka!" She'll either laugh or give you an odd look, but hey, it just might work.
